Certain individuals have stood out as fine examples of what it means to be a Steward. They have therefore been selected by The Steward Ad-Hoc Committee to be the recipients of an "award" for their dedication to Steward Activism for the 2nd Quarter of 2010. We believe these individuals are exemplary examples of what we stand for: truth, honor and dedication to Union values. In return we solely ask that they simply continue their activities. In so doing they assist us in our efforts to mobilize, educate, and organize Stewards for the overall betterment of the Union and its members. We are confident that they will find a way to pay this goodwill forward. Congratulations to them and Long Live The United Brotherhood of Carpenters!
If you know of a hard working, honest Steward who due to his/her activities in their capacity as Steward is sufferring economic hardship, then please nominate them for a Steward Award by submitting their information to us at stewardunderground@gmail.com. After a case by case review we will make a decision as to the 3 most worthy Nominees. Those chosen will receive a post card (see below) from The Steward Ad-Hoc Committee recognizing their dedication along with their award.
